” I didn’t have an appointment and I was a walk-in. Kim told me to choose my color and like always it takes me a while to choose a color, but with her help I was able to find this nice color that changes color which I thought it was pretty cool. Yeah the place it’s a little outdated but they treated me well and I never felt rushed. Definitely will go back 👍. The second picture is 2 weeks and 2 days after and they’re still going strong, NO chipping at all… Very satisfied with Kim’s work. “

” Most serene atmosphere I’ve been to. There are only three people working there but they are really nice and do an amazing job! This is my third visit to this business and I live in Chicago and travel all the way to Orland because of the people and their prices. I received a no chip manicure for $30.00. It lasts me an entire month! “

” Lucy’s is a nice little place to have your nails done. It’s clean, has friendly staff that do good work, and their prices are reasonable. I got a basic pedicure done here and was very happy with it. A friend had a no-chip manicure done and was equally happy with it. I’d recommend them if you’re in the area. There are a lot of nail salons in the Orland Park area, but many – most – of them have average-to-poor reviews. Be sure to always, always, always check reviews. If you don’t like the look of a place, trust your instincts and leave. (Not that I expect that to happen here – as I said, they’re very good. But I’ve had bad experiences elsewhere, including paranychia in my big toe – aka a *very* painful infection under the cuticle bed that required two trips to urgent care, a round of oral antibiotics, and soaking my foot for two weeks. It was at an expensive salon in Bolingbrook, and the guy doing my pedicure was so busy talking that he ignored my repeated protests that he was being much too rough. He not only cut one toe open, but he actually shoved bacteria from the nail under the cuticle, causing said infection.) “
